Leaders of pharmacy organizations receive well-earned kudos

August 2014 – The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) is recognizing the stellar efforts and commitment of pharmacy organization leaders across the country with the Past Presidents Award, now in its second year.

“Our aim is to highlight the various leaders of pharmacy groups in Canada as they step down from their terms,” says Dayle Acorn, CFP’s executive director. “As a volunteer organization ourselves, we truly understand and appreciate the contribution these individuals make to their organizations and to the profession as a whole.”

To date, eight of the 16 award recipients have been formally recognized in an award presentation, and the remainder will be honoured by the end of the year.

The 2014 Past Presidents Award winners are:

Christina Tulk, Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board
Debbie McCulloch, National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities
Sherry Peister, Canadian Pharmacists Association
Carmen Vézina, Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs
Marshall Moleschi, Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy
