NOVEMBER 2015 – The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) has updated its chart summarizing fees and claims data for government-sponsored pharmacist services under expanded scopes of practice.

Among the highlights: Quebec’s new fees for prescription adaptations, for minor ailments and to help patients with certain chronic conditions reach therapeutic targets. And in Ontario, injection-certified pharmacists administered more than 900,000 flu shots during the 2014-2015 season.

After three years collecting claims data from the provincial health ministries, CFP is also able to pull together the following snapshots of pharmacists’ uptake, where funding is available for all residents (i.e., not just for beneficiaries of the provincial drug plan):
