Applauding our Wellspring and Vaccine Services winners

The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy is thrilled to help spotlight innovation and leadership in pharmacy—as we did in Toronto in September, as co-host of the Ontario Pharmacists Association’s annual awards ceremony.

Two of the three recipients of CFP’s 2025 Wellspring Pharmacy Leadership Awards joined us on the stage: Nishan Devani, who used his Wellspring Grant to attend the 2025 FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held in Copenhagen, Denmark; and Rahim Pradhan, who will complete a project management certificate program as well as two Lean healthcare certifications.

Our third Wellspring recipient, Anthony Lau, is taking leadership training with a focus on advocacy, program development and mentoring. His objective is to create a network of volunteer pharmacists for international humanitarian aid. Get more details on our Wellspring recipients.

We applauded both winners of CFP’s Innovation in Vaccine Services Award at the awards ceremony: in the category of individual pharmacist/pharmacy team, Sophie Park and the Rexall pharmacy team in downtown Vancouver; and in the category of banner/chain initiative, Neighbourly Pharmacy.
