The CFP Golf Classic at Devil’s Pulpit, produced the tournaments first hole in one! Tim Smith of Mylan Canada used a 7 iron on the Pulpit’s 173 yard ,11th hole. The “eco” hole was sponsored by the Environmental Advisory Group and Stericycle Canada.Lucky for Tim, the “green” sponsored hole produced a different kind of green. This was the only hole that was covered by insurance that produced a $10,000 payout. After some internal discussions, it was decided that Tim would donate the winnings back to the Foundation. “I am happy to donate the winnings back to the Foundation,” states Tim. “The money wasn’t something I had to start the day, so nothing was lost. However, I still have the hole in one, my score card and the ball”, the pragmatic Smith added.
