The SHARP Symposium (Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy) is an annual event showcasing the newest and most promising Canadian pharmacy research. What sets the Symposium apart from a typical academic event is its focus on how these research projects can inform policy and practice. The program is designed to translate research knowledge into practice, and explore how findings can impact the everyday care decisions of a community pharmacist.

The 2026 SHARP Symposium will explore two themes:  

• Integrated care: How can we remove silos and move toward more collaborative care? 
• Health equity: How can we ensure all patients are being seen and heard within rapidly advancing healthcare systems?

Have you submitted your abstract for the event? Call for abstracts will close on Wednesday July 15th, 2026, at 11:59PM EST. Presenters will be chosen by an abstract review panel and notified in July/August 2026.
