The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) is excited to welcome its newest board members who bring a wealth of experience and expertise from various sectors of pharmacy in Quebec, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
Pharmacist Marie-Pascale Beaulieu, Director Professional Services at the Association québécoise des pharmaciens propriétaires, has been championing the role of community pharmacists in all her endeavours within the Quebec healthcare system. She has more than 10 years of experience in operations management and projects aimed at impacting health and holds a Master of Business Administration.
As Executive Director of the Prince Edward Island Pharmacists Association and Dalhousie University Pharmacy Endowment Fund, Erin Mackenzie is a recognized leader in the profession. She is past-president of both the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs and the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy. She has also served on the advisory board of CFP’s Wellspring Pharmacy Leadership Award since its inception in 2012. “I am honoured to be working with such a great group of dedicated leaders supporting the advancement of the profession of pharmacy,” she says.
Kyle John Wilby, Professor and Director of the College of Pharmacy and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University, says he too has admired the work of CFP for many years and is “thrilled” to be joining the Board. Prior to his role at Dalhousie, he worked in academic and leadership positions in Doha, Qatar and Dunedin, New Zealand, and now leads both education and research in the areas of sexual health, 2SLGBTQ+ health and education, and workforce development. “I look forward to contributing to advancing practice-based initiatives by supporting the Foundation’s work in innovation, research, and recognition of our national leaders,” he says.
Meet everyone on CFP’s Executive and Board of Directors.
