More backing for management textbook

More backing for management textbook

October 2014 – Green Shield Canada is the latest company to put its support behind Canada’s newest pharmacy management textbook, with a $25,000 donation.

“We believe the textbook will be an excellent aid in the development of the next generation of pharmacists,” says Steve Bradie, President and CEO. “The role pharmacists have in the delivery of health care is growing in importance and we see this textbook as aiding in this development.”

Bradie says Green Shield has a long-standing relationship with Canadian pharmacists, given that the company was formed more than 50 years ago by a group of pharmacists looking for a way to ensure people in need had access to basic medications. “We are proud of this relationship and grateful to have the opportunity to assist in this very worthy endeavor,” he says.

Pharmacy Management in Canada will be available next spring (2015) and is the first textbook of its kind since 1998. For more information or sponsorship opportunities contact dacorn@cfpnet.ca.
