The federal and provincial governments have enacted a wide range of temporary laws, regulations, policies and services in response to COVID-19. A number of these changes affect pharmacy practice and have put pharmacists at the forefront of ensuring continuity of care for patients.
The Canadian Foundation of Pharmacy (CFP) has created a chart to summarize the changes and enable quick comparisons between provinces. CFP regularly updates this chart in collaboration with provincial pharmacy associations.
This is our sixth installment of the chart, completed in June, 2022. Please note this is slightly more current than the chart printed in the spring edition of the Changing Face of Pharmacy report, released in May, due to new information for B.C.
