Remembering Kevin Hall

The pharmacy profession lost both a great visionary and influential leader with the death of Nova Scotia born pharmacist Kevin Hall in November 2023.

Hall was a great supporter of the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP), and a key editor on the Pharmacy Management in Canada textbook, produced by CFP.

He served as president of the Canadian Pharmacists Association (1994-1995) and was active at the branch and national levels of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.

As Regional Director of Pharmacy in the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Hall was subsequently invited to perform numerous operational reviews of pharmacy services in large hospitals across the country.  He was also an active lecturer, sessional instructor and assistant professor at the University of Winnipeg and University of Manitoba.  “We are so grateful for all his support for the Foundation over the years and his tremendous contribution to pharmacy overall will not be forgotten,” said Linda Prytula, CFP’s executive director.
