Spreading the word about pharmacy

SEPTEMBER 2021 – The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy partnered with the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA) to take part in Mediaplanet’s Immune Health content marketing campaign for Canadians. In Ontario, the campaign kicked off on September 18 with a sponsored supplement in the Toronto Star, which has a readership of 1.6 million.

Mediaplanet’s Health Insight website, with 55,000 visitors monthly, hosts the full content of the Immune Health campaign. Health Insight is a hub of sponsored content focsed on healthcare innovations and best practices in disease management and prevention.

CFP and OPA collaborated to produce the article, “Expanding Role of Pharmacists in Vaccinations and Immune Health.” It raises awareness of pharmacy’s growing capacity to administer influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as OPA’s Ready for What’s Next consumer campaign.

Other contributors of content to Mediaplanet’s Immune Health campaign include the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada, the Canadian Public Health Association, Immunize Canada and OnPharm-United.
