Dr. Amy Randell

Dr. Amy Randell - Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy
2024

Dr. Amy RandellĀ graduated from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (MUN) School of Pharmacy in 2010 with her BSc (Pharm) and in 2016 with her MSc (Pharm). She went on to complete her PharmD through the University of Toronto in 2021 while continuing to practice in a variety of community settings including rural, urban and specialty pharmacy.

In 2021, she started teaching courses with Keyin College in the Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program and discovered her love for teaching! In March 2022 she went on to become a faculty member at the MUN School of Pharmacy. Based on a desire to learn more about professional governance and become more engaged with her profession, she joined the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board where she has served as the Zone 1 Pharmacist representative since 2021. She is thrilled and honored to be one of 2024ā€™s Wellspring Leadership Award recipients and intends to use the grant money to help fund studies towards a Graduate Diploma in Pharmacy Leadership.
