John Papastergiou, practising community pharmacist and assistant professor at the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo, used CFP’s grant of $15,000 to quantify adherence rates to adult immunizations, where a series of vaccines or booster vaccines are required, when these vaccines are administered by community pharmacists.

The results, published by the International Journal for Pharmacy in October 2021, clearly demonstrated the impact pharmacist-immunizers can make when enabled by provincial legislation and funding. You can also access the article by clicking “Download File” below.
