Turns out pharmacists and pharmacy students across the country can’t get enough of a continuing education lesson on digital health in pharmacy. So much so, the lesson has been extended until 2026 based on its ongoing popularity.

The lesson, created by 2020 Wellspring Leadership Award winner Rui Su and co-authors Drs. Michelle Yee and Taher Rehmanji, is a five-module primer on a variety of digital health modalities currently available and how they intersect with pharmacy practice today and into the future. The CE was developed with the help of funding from the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) and is being offered free of charge by Pear Healthcare Solutions on its e-learning website.
To date, more than 1,800 pharmacy professionals and students have enrolled in the program.
“In this digital age, there is more and more need for pharmacy professionals to keep pace with technology,” says CFP’s Executive Director Linda Prytula. “The fact that this CE continues to garner so much interest is proof-positive that pharmacy professionals want to stay on top of technology trends.”
Digital Health in Pharmacy is available until February 1, 2026.
