Eagle score for CFP

The Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy received a huge funding boost on May 27, when its 30th annual Charity Gold Classic golf tournament raised $75,000.

A huge thank you to the 116 golfers who joined CFP Executive Director Linda Prytula at the Glen Abbey Golf Course on May 27, one of the few sunny days in May. And thank you to our sponsors: Bioscript Solutions, Hilley Pharma Advisors, Impres, Jamp Pharma, Sterimax and Sun Pharma.

The funds raised will go to CFP’s Innovation Fund, which bestows grants to fund pharmacy research and innovation across Canada. Since its inception in 2007, the Innovation Fund has awarded more than $2.3 million in funding to pharmacy researchers and innovators. This year, CFP was able to allocate $150,000 in grants from its Innovation Fund. The recipients will be announced in July.
