The Canadian Foundation from Pharmacy is pleased to promote two upcoming events from the Skin Spectrum Summit.

The 2025 Colloquium on the Black Patient in Dermatology is scheduled for August 9 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (ET). The Zoom webinar is available at no cost and its panel of experts will:

  • Examine the state of therapies, research and education in dermatology for skin of colour, with a focus on education in Canada
  • Address treatment challenges specific to Black skin (Fitzpatrick types V and VI) and the necessity of cultural competence.

As well, save the date for the 11th annual Skin Spectrum Summit at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto on October 4. The full-day conference will provide education on treating patients across all six Fitzpatrick skin types, for the conditions of psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis, pediatric dermatology, skin cancer and wound care. Registration fees are $195 to attend in-person (including breakfast and lunch) and $145 to attend virtually.
